Sustainability

At ICLE 2025 in Munich, we are deeply committed to integrating sustainable practices and initiatives that go beyond mere rhetoric to achieve concrete results. We firmly believe that it is our collective responsibility to protect the future for upcoming generations, both locally and globally. With this commitment in mind, we are meticulously planning our upcoming conference with sustainability as a central focus. Our dedication to environmental stewardship touches every aspect of the event, involving not just the organizing team and committees, but also our partners and delegates whom we eagerly welcome.

By prioritizing sustainability, we aim to foster a greener future for our planet and enhance the well-being of everyone participating in ICLE 2025.

ICLE 2025 and the Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, also called the Global Goals) are 17 goals with 169 targets that all UN Member States have agreed to work toward achieving by 2030. They set out a plan for a world without poverty, hunger, and disease.

We at ICLE 2025 want to contribute to the achievement of these objectives in our value chain. We support and work toward the following SDGs:

  • Keep waste items with you if there are no visible garbage or recycling bins at the event or during your tourism outings
